Aromatherapy – An Introductory Guide

Aromatherapy is the use of concentrated natural oils that are either fruits, flowers and other plant parts to maintain and promote feelings of physical and mental well-being extracted. The concept of aromatherapy will initially be allocated to a famous French chemist, Rene Maurice Gattefosse, who in 1928 applied lavender oil to a burn on her hand and helped him find the bodies natural healing process to accelerate.

Clearly, the term implies an aromatherapy treatment option, the essence of the oil, rather than their physical implementation. However, it is often the case that physically in the use of natural body oils, their essences are released. Then the oil (s) are beneficial to the body through the healing and soothing, and help calm the mind. The smell of gasoline or oil (s) may be in mind when inhaled fragrances receptors in the nose, you smell sensors, if you are connected to the part of your brain that controls your moods. As we all know, you smell different, we feel different things.

For example, staff, freshly cut grass – such as the sea meets the sky – for me a wonderful feeling of positive energy, while the smell of bacon cooking usually makes me hungry, even after eating. So it is not surprising that you have raised the issue of fragrances to produce oil, which essences and aromas, feel relaxed, happy, etc.

Currently, there are many different oils to choose, but only 20 of them on a large scale. All oils are the five families known oils. These families are: citrus, flowers, green, spicy and woody. For example, lavender is in flower family, while the cedar is – of course – rather than in the family timber.

All the different oils have different properties and different characteristics are not limited to oil or even a family of oils. You will probably find that you could say, with a woody antiseptic change regularly on a green, just because you feel a change. It’s all part of aromatherapy, how your body changes and mood – it’s your choice and oil. They experience a number of oils, to determine the best for you.

When using aromatherapy oils to be sure to read the instructions carefully. A label on the bottle of essential oils should never be in a concentrated form and requires watering. If a bottle of aromatherapy oil can be labeled already diluted and ready for use. Aromatherapy oils can be used in many ways, they just breathe it in swimming and its application of a lotion or a massage. But you remember Aromatherapy is a therapy free, it is not diagnosed as a substitute for conventional medical condition or illness by your doctor.
